Terms and Conditions of Use
1. General terms
SBTcourier Ltd operates as a commission agent, and not as a goods transportation company. Upon placement of the order, the customer authorizes SBTcourier Ltd, in his name and on his behalf, in order for the SBTcourier Ltd company to hire the transportation services provided by one the courier companies with which SBTcourier Ltd has made an agreement in its place, provided that the selected courier company complies with the requirements concerning the performance of the service assigned to it. SBTcourier Ltd is solely responsible for the selection of the providers of courier services, and under no circumstances for the performance of the transportation. The fulfilment of the obligations related to the transport service is the sole responsibility of the courier companies, which are selected to perform the transport. Those, and not SBTcourier Ltd, are the ones that perform the receipt, transport, and delivery of the shippings.
Any additional expenses, which may arise due to additional customer requirements from the selected provider of courier services, will be solely borne by the customer. SBT courier Ltd reserves the right to demand from the customer the refund of expenses, which are met by SBT courier Ltd on behalf of the customer, even if these expenses occur after the completion of the transport service.
2. Delivery dates
All delivery dates range approximately from 1 to 4 working days. Upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions herein, the customer acknowledges and agrees on that, a large number of external conditions may cause delays to the receipt or delivery of the shipping.
Upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions herein, the customers agrees to monitor the shipping on a regular basis, and in case of any irregular data or advancement, to notify SBT courier Ltd promptly.
With regard to the customs procedures of each country, the selected provider of courier services should make every effort to ensure that the delivery is made on time. Upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions herein, the customer understands and accepts that the delivery of the package may be delayed due to the customs and other administrative procedures. SBT courier Ltd reserves the right to demand the refund of expenses, which are met by SBTcourier Ltd on behalf of the customer, which are relevant to the customs procedures.
Neither is SBTcourier Ltd under any obligation to indemnify the customer for any damages caused by any event, nor is it obligated to refund any relevant cost.
3. Payment options
i. Payment through wire transfer
If the customer selects this payment method, the order will not have to be acknowledged immediately, and it will only be acknowledged after SBTcourier Ltd receives a acknowledgement of the successful wire transfer for the full amount for the reservation. The customer will receive an email message from SBTcourier Ltd with instructions on how to proceed to the full payment, including the bank, the bank account of SBTcourier Ltd, the amount to be transferred, etc.
Any relevant bank charges, which are incurred from the wire transfer, will be solely borne by the customer. If the amount that SBTcourier Ltd has received in a bank account is less than the amount that should have been deposited, the order will not be executed. SBTcourier Ltd is not under any obligation to notify the user that the deposited amount was not sufficient to acknowledge the order.
The customer has a deadline of (7) calendar days to send an email message to firstname.lastname@example.org, attaching a copy of the bank transfer. The acknowledgement of successful wire transfer will have to be forwarded by the customer prior to the selected delivery date. If it is not received by the selected delivery date, a new delivery date should be arranged only after the acknowledgement of successful delivery of wire transfer has been received. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to notify SBTcourier Ltd of the wire transfer. When this acknowledgement is received by SBTcourier Ltd, the customer will receive an email message, which acknowledges the order. If he does not receive the acknowledgement of successful wire transfer within seven (7) days, the order will be cancelled, and the user will notified.
ii. Cash on delivery
If the customer selects this payment method, the order is acknowledged immediately by SBTcourier Ltd.
The payment is made to one of our associates upon receipt of the product.
iii. PayPal online Invoice
If the customer selects this payment method, the order is acknowledged immediately after the transfer of the payment amount to the PayPal (email@example.com) account of SBTcourier Ltd.
PayPal payments are totally safe and can be made by sending a link to the customer’s email address, where he can proceed to the full payment of his order by following the instructions.
In any case, in order to serve the customer better, it would be wise to get in touch with one of the company’s associates.
The customer is responsible for providing a full and accurate address for receipt and delivery of the package, and any other relevant information to facilitate the delivery. The details of the address should match the defined territory during the reservation process. Otherwise, the courier companies will not be able to receive the required information for successful delivery
SBTcourier Ltd does not guarantee either the transport or shipping or delivery to a different address to the original one indicated by the customer. In case the customer corrects the address in a timely fashion, the new address will be used as a shipping address for the purposes of the Terms and Conditions herein. The additional shipping expenses will be solely borne by the customer.
Pursuant to the Terms and Conditions herein, the delivery will be considered as accomplished, if:
· the consignment is delivered to anyone found at the delivery address, by digital, or not, automatic signature.
· the consignment is delivered to an alternative address.
· after multiple failed attempts to deliver to the delivery address, the consignment is delivered to one of the warehouses of the selected provider of courier services, which is located close to the original delivery address.
· the selected provider of courier services has left a delivery notification to the contact person in charge of the delivery, or if this noticeable by monitoring the consignment through the Internet.
As soon as a delivery is considered accomplished, it is assumed that SBTcourier Ltd and the selected provider of courier services are relieved of any responsibility for the transport.
5. General information for proper use
The customer is responsible for providing a full and accurate address for receipt and delivery of the package, and any other relevant information to facilitate the receipt and delivery.
SBTcourier Ltd under no circumstances is responsible for any loss, damage, or any other defects, fees, or charges that result from or relate to the transport of the packages. SBTcourier Ltd, as the administrator of the transport/reservations system, only makes reservations of transport services on the customer’s behalf and upon his request. Therefore, SBTcourier Ltd is solely responsible for the selection of the providers of courier services, and under no circumstances for the performance of the transportation.
The customer is responsible for the payment of all taxes relating to the transport (i.e., Customs and Excise, and other taxes), and is under the obligation to pay them promptly. If, for any reason, SBTcourier Ltd is forced to pay any of these expenses, losses, or taxes, the customer is under the obligation to reimburse the amount within seven (7) calendar days from the date of acknowledgement of receipt. The lapse of this deadline enables SBTcourier Ltd to execute the agreement herein and request the payment of its expenses by a payment order.
Upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions herein, the customer agrees that SBTcourier Ltd will transfer the data, which are received from the customer during order processing by SBTcourier Ltd, to the selected provider of courier services, according to procedure described in the Data Protection Policy of SBTcourier Ltd.
6. Liability for losses and damages to the consignment
SBTcourier Ltd handles the reservation of transport services, and therefore, is not liable for any loss or damage to the package, or any of its contents. SBTcourier Ltd partners only with premium-quality courier service providers, and hence, any damage or/and losses are uncommon.
The providers of courier services are responsible for the receipt, transport, and delivery of all the consignments.
The packages will be under the supervision of the courier service provider from receipt to delivery.

SBTcourier Ltd does not operate as an insurance company. No insurance is provided directly by SBTcourier Ltd for the shipping of packages, and it is provided directly by the providers of courier services, or by their insurance companies
Upon the customer’s request, SBTcourier Ltd will waive all claims and rights that arise from the transactions-concluded in the name and behalf of the customer-including the claims under the liability of the courier service provider for non-fulfilment or defective fulfilment of the courier services. The customer is under the obligation to recover or enforce the claims against the provider of courier services.
